City of Ballarat, in partnership with RoadSafe Central Highlands welcomes Ballarat residents, aged 55+ to:

Safer Cyclists: Adult Bike Ed

- A two-part information session for New or Returning Riders

The theory-based sessions will educate and assist adults who:

may be new to cycling
are returning riders who want to build more confidence

Topics covered will include:

Learning to Ride
Key Road Rules for Riding
Sharing the Road with Drivers
Electric Bikes
Riding with Children
Basic bike maintenance

In Session Two, participants will visit the nearby Re-Cranked shed - a Y-Ballarat initiative re-vamping unwanted bikes into serious modes of transport for people without wheels

This is a two-part course run over two consecutive weeks.

Course registration indicates attendance at both sessions.

Part 2: Monday 24th March 2025

Time: 10.00am-12.30pm
