Chef Izzy (Isabel) is one of Rotorua's well-loved chefs and food-entrepreneurs and has been serving delicious favourites from her family-owned business, River's Catch. Chef Izzy's culinary background spans from rising through the ranks in Sofitel Auckland to being the sous chef at the premiere Treetops Lodge and eventually working as the Head Chef of Pullman Rotorua.
Her extensive experience and creativity has been poured into River's Catch, where she feeds the locals with her delightful creations straight from her humble kitchen. River's Catch has earned the People's Choice Award for 2022's Matariki Dish Challenge and was nominated for the Outstanding Takeaways for the Rotorua Hospitality awards 2023.
