Description

The year is 1692 and Salem Village is in the midst of the most famous witch hunt in American history. Many residents of Salem share a dark, damp cell where they sit in the dirt awaiting their trial, with nothing else to do but contemplate their fates.

Suddenly, the witch hunt takes a far more peril turn for those imprisoned. You will need to be there to learn what happens...

We will set an intriguing scene and everyone will be able to mingle and interrogate the suspects to work out who is guilty.

Our guests are more than welcome to dress in the practical, conservative, Puritan styles as defined in colonial Massachusetts. So pop on your favourite linens and join us this Halloween in Creswick! Or, just come as you are :)

We provide a range of theatrical productions, competitions and workshops designed to cultivate and stimulate appreciation of the theatrical arts in our community. These included a play writing competition resulting in an twelve minute play festival. We support CRESFEST and host productions from The Bard in Buninyong and other local creatives.
While the majority of our productions have been written by local playwrights, CTC also produce musicals, plays, and children's pantomimes ranging from Gilbert and Sullivan classics to well-known works like Oliver, Guys and Dolls, and HMS Pinafore.
CTC with The Bard in Buninyong host script-in-hand play readings on the last Sunday of most months to highlight classic and newly discovered scripts.
We welcome community members of all experience levels to participate both on-stage as actors and off-stage in lighting, sound, set building, and costumes.
