Salvaged Wearable Art
Event description
This 3-hour workshop will give you the tools and the creative space to craft something unique from pre-loved, salvaged materials. You will have the opportunity to display your creations in the Kingborough Salvaged Art Exhibition, Friday 22nd - 24th September.
Participants will have time to warm up and play with the materials provided, then design a piece of wearable art (jewellery, accessories etc.) or a small sculpture, to spend the remainder of the class creating.
We can supply salvaged materials from our pre-loved supplies including beads, threads, ribbons, paint, buttons and fabric, but you are encouraged to also bring meaningful items that you would like to include in your art piece.
