Sanacori play vibrant Southern Italian music and showcase dances of Tarantella and Pizzica. They were formed by Rosa Voto, vocalist and dancer, founder of the Melbourne School of Tarantella. They use guitar "battente" , accordion, flutes, tamburello , voice and dance to bring the primal village trance traditions to life, with a contemporary feel.It also features Renato Vacirca on guitar, Phil Carroll on accordionand wind instruments and Michele Pacelli on tamburello. They have played festivals in Cygnet TAS, Creswick, Healesville, Brunswick, Mirboo Nth, Ballarat, “La Fiera” Myrtleford and Lavandula.
