Randwick Council’s Saturday Circle brings people together, fostering connections with self, each other, and our local environment.
Writing Circle
In these facilitated writing circles, we will connect-to-protect by fostering a deeper sense of awareness and love of where we live we can be more inspired to take care of it.
Writing circles are unique, simple, and soulful. They are also designed to cultivate a sense of belonging. All you need is a pen and paper. Bring your open-hearted curiosity, too. You don’t need to consider yourself “a writer” to attend.

With Mother’s Day weekend we’ll kick off with a theme of writing about our mothers, including Mother Earth. A series of writing prompts, with the only instruction being to “keep the pen moving”. An opportunity to share, listen and grow in wonderment, beauty, and insight.
Key Details
Meet at the main entrance at 9.55am. From there we will walk to our writing location together. Writing may be under the trees, with option to sit on tree stumps, or undercover at the picnic tables near the permaculture garden or indoors. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather on the day inclusive of a hat, walking shoes, long sleeves, cold weather gear etc.

Blanche De Winter is a local lover of life with a vast network and depth of experience built over 30 years in communications consultancy.

This event is part of the Saturday Circle a monthly repair, share, regen, reuse and resilience building get-together at the Randwick Sustainability Hub, 27 Munda St Randwick.
