Randwick Council’s Saturday Circle brings people together, fostering connections with self, each other, and our local environment.

Writing Circle

In these facilitated writing circles, we will connect-to-protect by fostering a deeper sense of awareness and love of where we live, we can be more inspired to take care of it.

Writing circles are unique, simple, and soulful. They are also designed to cultivate a sense of belonging. All you need is a pen and paper. Bring your open-hearted curiosity, too. You don’t need to consider yourself “a writer” to attend.

Saturday, 12th October - Breath: vitality, invigoration, inspiration, air quality, fragrance; local places we breathe in

Saturday, 9th November - Compost: cycles, beginnings and endings; how do we deal with waste? what are we fertilising?

Saturday, 14 December - Wrapping up a year, loving where we live.

Key Details
Meet at the main entrance at 9.55am. From there we will walk to our writing location together. Writing may be under the trees, with option to sit on tree stumps, or undercover at the picnic tables near the permaculture garden or indoors. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather on the day inclusive of a hat, walking shoes, long sleeves, cold weather gear etc.
