SCAMP Comics Festival 2026 Workshop: Dream Journal Comics with Rachel Ang

The ethereal, vivid imagery of dreams makes them a perfect source of inspiration for creating journal comics.

Facilitated by acclaimed cartoonist Racheal Ang, this workshop guides artists as they turn the ghostly world of dreams into physical, tangible art. It’s a space to play, explore, and tap into the intimate potential of journal comics.

Rachel Ang is an artist and writer who makes comics. Their work has been published in international journals such as The New Yorker and kuš!, and Australian periodicals like The Age and Meanjin. Their new book, a collection of short stories in comics form, titled ‘I Ate The Whole World to Find You’, is available through Drawn & Quarterly and Scribe, and was shortlisted for an Ignatz Award.

This workshop is for adults aged 18 and over.
