You’re invited to a SCAPE Public Art celebration like no other.
This year marks 25 years of SCAPE Public Art and on 10 March, we are combining our 25-year anniversary party with our annual flagship fundraiser for a fabulous evening celebrating art, SCAPE and all our wonderful patrons and supporters. This event will also be a farewell to our own Deborah McCormick, who has been at SCAPE’s helm as Executive Director since its inception.
The SCAPE Silver Urban Art Party will be held at Canterbury Museum, in conjunction with the new international SHIFT: Urban Art Takeover exhibition. This will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating SCAPE’s journey over the past 25 years and the shift towards a bright new future.
The VIP opening fundraiser will run from 6pm to 8pm and comprise an exclusive art auction, cocktail party and performances as well as surprises to discover as part of SHIFT.
From 8pm til late, celebrate with the SCAPE team and trustees, many of SCAPE’s previous season artists, and the wider arts community at the SCAPE Silver Urban Art Party. Whet your appetite at the bar, sustain your revelry with a selection of food trucks, and get your groove on with live music, DJs and street performances throughout the night.
We are delighted to be joining forces with Canterbury Museum for this one-time-only event as both organisations move into a new era. With bespoke entertainment and a spotlight on SCAPE’s incredible legacy, this is a unique way to experience the SHIFT exhibition, even if you’ve seen it before.
