Luminaires Halloween Scare-venger Hunt

Prepare to be scared!

The Curse of Cracroft is upon us… help us to defeat the devilish ghosts and ghouls who haunt the ancient grounds…

Complete our Halloween Scare-venger Hunt to become the hero and restore Cracroft to a safe haven once again. Keep your eyes peeled for halloween themed characters who will help or hinder you, petrify and panic you, trick or treat you, along your spooky quest!

The family friendly scare-venger heros are invited from 6pm - 8.00pm where you will vanquish witches and dastardly devils followed by a disco to celebrate your heroism ending at 8pm sharp.

For the brave-at-heart after dark

If you are looking for a good old poop your pants scare-venger hunt (recommended for ages 15yrs +) then join the after dark search alongside freakish fiends at 8.30pm followed by a classic horror movie and popcorn.

• Correct scare-venger entries will go in the draw for some spooktacular prizes

• Prizes for best dressed

• Refreshments, sausage sizzle and snacks available to purchase throughout the night

• This is an alcohol free event

• The actors are experienced volunteers from the Luminaires performing alumni

These events are on Halloween itself, Friday 31st October at Cracroft Guide Centre, 151 Cashmere Road, Christchurch

Due to the nature of the event, there will be NO PARKING onsite, unless by prior arrangement.

Please wear sturdy footwear, bring a torch and pen.

Please note:

• There is no parking onsite - please allow time to find street parking

• Those aged under 12 must be accompanied by a suitable adult

• Wear sturdy footwear - there is a lot of uneven ground

• Bring a torch (or phone with torch) - especially for those staying after dark

• Bring a pen or pencil to write the answers to the scavenger hunt

• This is an alcohol-free event. Anyone intoxicated will be asked to leave immediately

• Eftpos and cash sales are available for purchase of treats and sausage sizzle

• There will be a tip jar at the concession stand to enable you to tip our volunteer spooky actors

• Door sales are available at the gate, so bring your friends

• No entry will be permitted onto the grounds until the start time (6pm / 8.30pm)

• We encourage you to arrive at the beginning of your session to really make the most of the evening
