Event description

To celebrate Relics: A New World Rises, join Helen and Thomas from Helen’s Mini Worlds to create a living world for your very own LEGO® mini-fig in this hands on workshop designed for kids aged 7 -13 years.

In this one-hour workshop you will get your hands dirty creating a tiny living terrarium world in a 250ml jar. Along the way Helen, who has a science degree and a passion for nature, will guide you through the science of ecosystems. You will not only take home your very own terrarium world (complete with LEGO® mini-fig inhabitant), but also all the information you need to care for it and a wealth of new knowledge about the natural world.

An accompanying adult is required to stay with the participant for the duration of the workshop, but do not require a ticket. Building a terrarium of this size requires fine motor skills and younger children may need assistance with some parts of this workshop. As an accompanying adult you must be prepared to work with your child/children and support them where required. Helen and Thomas are experienced workshop leaders but can't help everyone at once.

This is the perfect mix of science and creativity!

What to bring:

All materials are provided, you may wish to bring a bag or box to safely transport your completed terrarium.
