Farming for Our Future - (Ages 5-8)
Tuesday 23 September from 1pm to 3pm
Join expert CERES School of Nature and Climate educators for a fun and hands on school holiday program designed for children aged 3–13. This immersive experience connects little ones with the natural world through play-based learning. Through fun, interactive activities, children will learn how they can actively contribute to an environmentally sustainable future.
In this session, Farming for Our Future - (Ages 5-8)
Get hands-on exploring Honey Lane Organic farm, discovering all the beasts, bugs and plants that make our farming world go round.
· Children will tour and explore Honey Lane Organic Farm and will meet our super friendly feathered friends, the CERES chickens!
· Children will make a recycled pot and propagate their own plant to take home to start their own urban gardening adventure!
Please note:
· This workshop is aimed at children aged 5 to 8 years.
· Each child/group of children must have an adult guardian present throughout the workshop and any breaks (maximum one guardian per child).
· Please allow plenty of time for parking and a short walk (5 minute) to the meeting point at Terra Terra Wonder Playspace. See Map of CERES Brunswick East - CERES
