Early Learning - Wildlife Shelters & Habitat - (Age 3-5)
Thursday 25 September 10am to 12pm
In this session, Wildlife Shelters & Habitat - (Age 3-5)
Children will discover the basic needs of local wildlife – food, water, shelter and connect to local ecosystems (CERES nest boxes, the Merri Creek or your centre) through exploration to assess if it is a suitable place for wildlife to live.
· Identify, collect, and build what local wildlife need for a suitable place to live
· Build a mini insect hotel to bring back for your centre to increase habitat and biodiversity
Please note:
· This workshop is aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years.
· Each child/group of children must have an adult guardian present throughout the workshop and any breaks (maximum one guardian per child).
· Please allow plenty of time for parking and a short walk (5 minute) to the meeting point at Terra Terra Wonder Playspace. See Map of CERES Brunswick East - CERES
