School Holiday Workshop: UpCycle School - Plastic Bottle Edition: Create a Space Robot or Rocket

In this workshop we will dive deep into the recycling bin, utilising bottles and recyclables to create a space themed robot and rocket ship. We will use sculpting materials to embellish and learn how to create painting effects. We will also recycle a tee-shirt box to create a backdrop or diorama for our creations.

Participants are welcome to bring interesting recyclables, beads, small broken toys etc to add to their creations.

All materials supplied in class

Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.

Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle.

Workshop runs Wednesday 1st October 12:30-3pm at the Referees Rooms, end of Rangipare Street, Ōtorohanga. This workshop has been funded (thanks to Ōtorohanga Creative Community Funding) to reduce the costs to just $15 per person (plus the booking fee of .75c)
