Event description

The Futuremakers event is for young people in Years 7-10 who:

• Care about the environment and climate

• Are curious about how change actually happens

• Sometimes feel like they're the only one who really worries about this stuff

• Want to meet others who are hopeful, curious and ready to do something

What will the day be like?

You'll spend the day in small groups with other young people your own age, moving around the CERES site and taking part in:

• Hands-on workshops and creative making

• Connection with friendly environmental experts

• Conversations about the big issues

Along the way you'll connect with others, build confidence, and get a feel for how you can make change in the real world.

What you'll leave with:

By the end of the day you'll head home:

• With new ways of thinking about positive actions you can take for climate change

• Connected to a bunch of like-minded people

• Feeling inspired and more hopeful
