School Holidays Beginner Sewing Class for Kids and Teens

Our popular Kids Beginner School Holidays Sewing Classes is back again in April 2024!
Over 3 days, we will teach your kids and teens everything they need to kick start their basic sewing machine skills. Aimed at 9+ year olds, we offer project based teaching, with students completing items of a pencil/pen wrap and simple backpack with drawstrings and straps.
DETAILS:
- Classes are held over 3 days, Tuesday 16th April, Wednesday 17th April, Thursday 18th April, 2024.
- All materials, patterns and use of equipment is included in the cost of the course.
- Students are most welcome to bring and learn to use their own sewing machine, or use one of ours.
Please Note: This beginners sewing workshop is created using circular economy principles. This means, we will be using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics, and haberdashery items for our sewing workshops. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
