Screen Acting Bootcamp with Brett
When: Oct 6th and 7th (two days)

*Please note these activities are for young people only. Parents are welcome to stay and observe. You do not need a ticket to do so, but we kindly request you let us know in advance.
About the workshop
This screen acting boot camp is designed for young performers who want to build confidence and develop their on-camera skills. Students will learn the basics of screen terminology, explore acting techniques for film and TV, and take part in fun improvisation exercises.
What will I learn?
Participants will:
· Learn key screen and film terminology
· Develop acting techniques for the camera
· Build confidence through improvisation and scene work
· Gain experience performing on camera
· Work collaboratively with other young actors
What will I take home?
The course will finish with a short presentation for family and friends, where students can share what they’ve learned. Presentation at 2.30pm on the 7th Oct.
About your tutor
Brett Rogers is a NIDA graduate and professional actor, director and acting coach with extensive experience across theatre, film and television. His screen work includes Rake, Australian Gangster and the feature films All About E & Dark Noise. Brett has trained internationally at the Stella Adler Studio in New York and is a recipient of the Mike Walsh Fellowship. Passionate about mentoring young performers, Brett regularly teaches acting and screen performance, helping students build confidence, creativity and practical on-camera skills.
