About the workshop: In this workshop participants will be guided in the process of constructing their own sock puppet, and encouraged to stylise their puppet in their own vision using the various materials provided.

What will I learn?  You will learn how to design and create a sock puppet using materials provided. You will learn how to make a moveable mouth, add features of your choosing and bring your puppet's character to life!

You can take your sock puppet creation home and entertain the whole family! They'll love it.

About your tutor Your tutor's name is Fran Reeve; Fran has been creating soft and fluffy characters for years. She likes to bring her soft creations to life through the animation of puppetry and she's excited to share that with you! Fran first discovered her love of puppetry when she was asked to create puppets of Cinderella and The Prince for local theatre production, and since then has been to France and back exploring puppetry, and her other passion, circus.
