OP Shop Walking Tour and Clothing Upcycling Design Tips

Join us on a walking tour of the three Op Shops in Mount Waverley. We’re thrilled to have Ariella, a fourth-generation master tailor, accompanying us and advising on what you can do to redesign and upcycle op shop thrifty finds with a sewing machine.

After the walking tour, we will return to the meeting room at Mount Waverley Library for advice, sewing demonstrations and light refreshments.

Saturday 25 May. 9:20am for 9:30am to 12pm.

Meet at the Mount Waverley Library meeting room (upstairs).

Wear: Your comfortable walking shoes. Please dress for the weather. If it is raining, we will go ahead, so bring a rain jacket and umbrella if rain is forecast.

Bring: Money to purchase thrifty finds at the op shops, reusable bag to put them in, water bottle, sense of adventure.

All welcome! Inclusive of all genders.
