Join instructors from Stay Safe Australia for a workshop tailored specifically to seniors. You will learn how to identify unsafe situations and protect and defend yourself. The training will include:

The 3 pillars of personal safety: detect, defuse, defend
Basic strikes & where to aim
Decision making under pressure
Effective negotiation techniques
How to report a crime to the police

If you use a walking stick, walking frame, or wheelchair you are more than welcome to attend, and the instructors will show you how to utilise these devices in self defence.

Note regarding cost: while the Humanitix booking is free, the cost of the workshop is $50 to be paid on the day of the event (card only).
