Seniors Week at Hunter Wetlands 2025
Event description
The Hunter Wetlands Centre invites you to join us for a memorable Seniors Week celebration surrounded by nature!
For three delightful mornings, our lower deck will transform into a scenic Seniors Cafe with live music and a view across our wonderful wetlands.
Included in the $10 per person entry is:
- Devonshire Tea (Tea / Coffee & Scones).
- Live Music performances by talented musicians from the Newcastle and Hunter Folk Club.
- Guided Walks and engaging Nature Talks.
Guided Buggy Rides for mobility challenged guests can also be arranged, subject to availability and pre-booking.
We're accepting Individual and Group Bookings. Places are limited so book early!
Seniors Access at the Hunter Wetlands Centre
The Hunter Wetlands Centre, located in Shortland near Newcastle NSW is thoughtfully designed with seniors in mind, featuring:
- Graded, wheel accessible paths and trails.
- Accessible toilets.
- Lift access between lower and upper levels.
- Ample bus and mini-bus parking with convenient drop-off and pick-up zones.
