Sept 13 | Sunday Crafternoon: Felt Hand-Sewn Charms!
Description
Join us for Crafternoon, a self-guided, themed crafting session with reuse materials! Our weekly themes vary, offering exciting inspiration like seasonal decor, miniatures, paper crafts, and unusual material challenges. All materials provided.
This week's theme is Felt Hand-Sewn Charms! 🪡❤️🧵
Come to the studio this Sunday to sew (or glue) scrap bits of felt to make all sorts of cute decorative plush charms! Sew a plush mushroom, leaf, tea cup, heart, star, or other sweet shape to hang from your bag or keychain. Practice simple embroidery stitches like the whip stitch, blanket stitch, or chain stitch. Choose from a variety of well-loved templates made by SCRAP staff & volunteers, or design a custom mini-plush!
We'll provide felt scraps, fabric scraps, ribbon, buttons, glue, and sewing notions and tools—you bring your creativity!
1-3pm | Ages 5+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult | Mask-friendly environment
Location: The new SE SCRAP Education Studio! 619 SE 6th Ave 😊
