September Monthly Mingle

Join us for our Monthly Mingle on Sunday 22 September. It is an informal get-together that aims to bring people closer to their local food system and community. Monthly Mingles are an opportunity to share food, stories, and views on sustainability and our food system.

This month pizza will be followed by the Canberra City Farm Annual General Meeting which includes, the Committee report on activities at the Farm during the previous twelve months, the Treasurers report on the state of the finances of the Farm and the election of the new committee for the next twelve months.  Members will also be asked to approve amendments to the CCF Constitution necessary to ensure it is consistent with new ACT legislation for not-for-profit Associations.  The Treasurer will also present the Farm budget for the coming twelve months and the Committee will launch the new Farm strategy to which many members of the Farm have contributed during the previous six months.  Details of the agenda for the Annual General Meeting will be sent to all members later.

As usual, before the AGM, we’ll be firing up the pizza oven and will provide pizza bases, sauce, and cheese; please bring other pizza toppings for our volunteers to prepare various options to share.
