EDGE: Setting Rates & Negotiating Coworking
Description
EDGE Session: Setting Rates & Negotiating Coworking: Application, Refinement, and Feedback
This session is part of EDGE — Educator Development & Growth Experience, a guided mentorship program for kink educators who are ready to refine their skills, strengthen their impact, and evolve their teaching practice with intention. EDGE is collaboratively designed and facilitated by Devyn Stone and IzzyOkay.
EDGE sessions are intentionally designed to support educators at multiple stages of growth. Each session blends practical skill-building, guided reflection, and shared learning, with an emphasis on helping participants integrate new insights directly into their teaching practice. Participants can expect EDGE sessions to prioritize clarity, intentionality, and real-world application, supporting both confidence and competence as kink educators.
Session description:
This coworking session provides structured time for educators to apply and refine their rates, boundaries, and negotiation strategies with facilitated feedback and support. Participants are invited to work through real scenarios such as setting top and bottom lines, evaluating offers, drafting negotiation language, or deciding when to accept, counter, or decline opportunities. Optional feedback from EDGE facilitators is available throughout, with an emphasis on clarity, sustainability, and values-aligned decision-making. Educators will leave with greater confidence in their numbers, language, and next steps.
