We exist to Educate, Engage and Enable businesses around the world with the SDGs. To inspire us all to take action and imbed the Global Goals and impact into the very core of everything we do.

The Speakers

Each speaker has a 17 minute keynote to share with us how they are using their business to make an impact in the world, and how they align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

All speakers are home grown heroes from the Sydney area, ready to inspire their community on how to do things a little differently.

Adrian Jones - Co-Founder BlockTexx - https://www.linkedin.com/in/ad...

Adrian was a seasoned retail veteran with over thirty years’ experience in major retailers in the UK and Australia. He has a deep and thorough knowledge of sourcing, supply chain and product development in the textile industry. As both an industry participant and consumer, Adrian has realised that the industry is both ready for and needs positive and real change. He observed the tension of trying to continue to grow consumption without dealing with the waste we produce, and this is where BlockTexx can make a significant contribution to the textile overconsumption issue, converting textile waste into valuable resources.

Sandy Greenwood - Founder Jinda Productions - https://www.linkedin.com/in/sa...

Sandy is a Gumbaynggirr Dunghutti and Bundjalung custodian and actor, writer, playwright, arts producer, cultural educator and director. Working in First Nations theatre and film, Sandy founded her company to tell stories from a female Indigenous perspective.

Her first play, "Matriarch", written, produced and performed by Sandy, was nominated for a Green Room Award for Best Writing and she won the accolade for Best Performer in Independent Theatre. Sandy has a publishing contract with Echo Publishing/ Bonnier Books UK to adapt Matriarch into an intergenerational Memoir. Sandy is in the writer’s room for two television script developments (A Gift and a Curse, Seaview Entertainment and FLIC FLAC, Nicole Delprado)

Olivia Tyler - Founder Good & Should https://www.linkedin.com/in/ol...

Olivia Tyler is the Founder of Good & Should an organisation that exists for one simple reason: to help people and businesses do better – for themselves, for each other, and for the world they operate in.

With over 25 years in senior sustainability and risk roles – spanning finance, retail, consumer goods and advisory – Olivia’s worked with some of the country’s most complex organisations, including Westpac, Woolworths, Treasury Wine Estates, Coca-Cola, and Edge Impact.

She’s a CEW Sustainability Scholar, TED speaker, qualified marine scientist, engineer and MBA-holder, and has completed further study at Oxford, Harvard and AICD. A fierce animal advocate, she serves on several boards and advisory groups, including Animal Welfare League NSW, Pet Medical Crisis, the Lost Dogs Home and Earth Charter International.

Olivia believes sustainability isn’t a job title or a project plan – it’s a way of showing up in the world. One that’s bold, unflinching, respectfully agitates – and gets sh*t done.

Daniel Pittorino - Senior Managing Director - Macquarie Group https://www.linkedin.com/in/da...

Daniel Pittorino is a seasoned financial services executive and proud Sydney-sider, currently enjoying a sabbatical following his role as Senior Management Director at Macquarie Group. With a career that began at KPMG, Dan moved into the Macquarie Bank Commodities Group in Sydney before expanding his international experience with Deutsche Bank in London and a Global Macro Fund in New York.

He rejoined Macquarie in 2007 in their New York Equities Group, where he was involved in equity research, institutional advisory, and trading. After eight years in New York, Dan relocated to London in 2014, overseeing the ANZ, Japan, and broader Asian Emerging Markets desks during the tumultuous MIFID and Brexit period. In 2017, he returned to Sydney to lead Macquarie’s equities sales teams across multiple global markets and manage key listed corporate relationships, serving on both the Australian Equity Management Committee and the Global Equities Leadership Team until 2024.

Beyond finance, Dan has contributed to the development of a MedTech startup focused on improving access to gastroenterology services by addressing cost, equality, legal, and productivity barriers. A passionate advocate for Indigenous education, Dan has sponsored Yalari since 2013, supporting four students through their boarding school journeys in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant with CA ANZ. In his downtime, Dan is an avid hiker, amateur runner, and occasional ocean swimmer and cyclist—often combining these pursuits with his love for travel.
