Sexuality and Disability
Event description
This challenging and thought-provoking workshop explores relationship and sexuality rights and the needs of people with disabilities.
The workshop aims to develop awareness of our own values and attitudes in relation to sexuality, and consider how these may be barriers to the rights of the people we support.
This interactive workshop is essential for people who live with, or care for people who have a disability. We recommend people do this workshop before other SECCA workshops to build their foundational knowledge.
Our workshops are for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.
This is a full day workshop with catering provided for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Please bring your own water bottle.
*Please note: Due to new community mandates, all participants must provide proof of COVID vaccination in order to attend our workshops. Please bring this with you on the day of the workshop.
