Shabbat Shelanu: A Special Communal Dinner at Emanuel Synagogue
Event description
Keeping our community connected, safe and engaged remains of paramount importance to us as we continue to navigate these turbulent times. In the spirit of togetherness, join us for a special Shabbat dinner on Friday 11 July to celebrate our enduring spirit, values and tradition.
Accessibility of our offerings is of paramount importance to us. To eliminate any financial obstacles to attending, we are offering pay-what-you-can tickets—no matter your circumstances, we want you there with us. And, if you are in a position to do so, please consider sponsoring a spot for someone in our community who might be doing it extra tough right now.
Rabbi Sam Zwarenstein, along with members of the Emanuel Synagogue board will host the evening, and the delicious dinner will be lovingly provided by Nora's Kitchen. Some beverages (water, juices) will be provided, but please BYO your favourite wine as well.
We are expecting high demand for seats, so, if you would like to attend, please book quickly.
We look forward to coming together.
If initiatives like this one are important to you, please consider making an impactful, tax-deductible donation to our EOFY appeal to support our important work. We are grateful for your generosity and can't do it without you. Donate here by 30 June.
