Thank you for registering your place in the Shamanic Dimensions of Pregnancy workshop. We are in for a wonderful day together.

Here is some important information about how to prepare and what to bring on the day.

Date: Tuesday 28th January 2020

Time: Arrive at 08:45am for a 09:00am start. Finishes at 5:00pm

Venue: 73 Davies Drive, Atawhai, Nelson. There is street parking available near the apartment

Workshop Preparation:

In the lead up to the workshop, please make time to reflect on the following questions:

What was the story of your birth?
How do the women in your family give birth?
What is the story of your menarche (first period)?
How was your experience of menstruation before pregnancy and childbirth?
What has been your experience of giving birth – to children, careers, projects, gardens, art, etc?
Can you see a theme or repeating pattern?

What to Bring:

• Your journal and writing materials.
• A talisman or item which represents Pregnancy and Birth, for you
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing
• Bring a warm wrap or shawl.
• A cushion or whatever you may need to be seated comfortably on the floor
• Water bottle
• Bring your own lunch. Morning and Afternoon tea will be provided
