Sharing Light - community clay vessel making workshops

SHARING LIGHT: COMMUNITY CLAY VESSEL MAKING WORKSHOPS

National Council of Jewish Women NSW invites you to join us to create clay vessels for Sharing Light, a community installation of thousands of clay vessels containing solar lights at Archer Park, marking one year since the Bondi Beach attack.

In addition to the hundreds of communities already engaged in clay making, we are hosting four sessions in September where members of the community can come together to make clay vessels that will form part of the installation.

No pottery experience is needed. Just come along, create a vessel and contribute to this shared act of remembrance, community and light.

WORKSHOPS:

• Tue 15 September, 6:00 - 7:30pm

• Wed 16 September, 10:00 - 11:30am

• Thu 24 September, 10:00 - 11:30am

• Thu 24 September, 6:00 - 7:30pm

JEWISH COMMUNITY AND FRIENDS WELCOME.

Morning tea will be provided at the daytime sessions and a light supper at the evening sessions.

Sharing Light will be on display at Archer Park, Bondi from 4 - 14 December.
