Help shape a new disability inclusion workshop for Queensland's community services sector.

Shifting Bias is a new and free workshop developed by Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) to help organisations build more inclusive services and improve outcomes for people with disability.

Co-designed by people with disability and in partnership with leaders across the justice community services sector, this practical and engaging workshop is delivered by facilitators with lived experience of disability. It provides a safe and supportive space to explore how bias can influence the way we think, make decisions, and interact with others.

What you'll learn

During the workshop, participants will:

• Build confidence in recognising bias in everyday situations.

• Understand how conscious and unconscious bias towards people with disability can influence decisions and service delivery.

• Learn practical strategies to challenge bias and create more inclusive practices.
