Is this workshop right for me?

How old do I need to be?

Do I need to know anything about making movies?

Nope! Lovers of film are definitely encouraged - and that could mean anything from a “Netflix binge-watcher” to “the next Steven Spielberg”.

What do I get to DO?

So much! In a ‘Round Robin’-format, you’ll get to experience real-life crew roles in camera, lighting, and sound departments (plus a couple of bonus departments if time allows) MULTIPLE times - so you’ll have plenty of chances for hands-on practise under professional guidance.

What should I bring?

A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, an eagerness to listen and learn, a sense of humour… oh, and your packed lunch, of course!

My child is determined to work in film, will this workshop help them to do that?

It’s a tough industry, but knowing on-set etiquette, basic filmmaking skills using industry-standard equipment, and having connections with people in the industry are key to getting a foot in the door. Plus, an IMDb credit can show potential employers that your kid has these skills.
