FAQ

What film are we making?

Shh… it’s a secret… But be prepared for some bizarre comedy!

Where is the workshop?

At our dedicated Film Studio in Warana - check out the Google Map link here!

Is this workshop right for me?

Are you interested in filmmaking as a career? Are you already making your own movies at home or at school? Are you looking to learn some filmmaking skills during your school holidays? If so, you’re the perfect addition to the ‘crew’!

How old do I need to be?

This workshop is designed for ages 15-21, but this is a guide. For more info, chat with the team at Pluggas Studio on 1300 421 602 or shoot us an email at info@pluggas.com.

Do I need to know anything about making movies?

Nope! Lovers of film are definitely encouraged - and that could mean anything from a “Netflix binge-watcher” to “the next Steven Spielberg”.

What do I get to DO?

So much! In a ‘Round Robin’-format, you’ll get to experience real-life crew roles in camera, lighting, and sound departments (plus a couple of bonus departments if time allows) MULTIPLE times - so you’ll have plenty of chances for hands-on practise under professional guidance.

What should I bring?

A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, an eagerness to listen and learn, a sense of humour… oh, and your packed lunch, of course!

My child is determined to work in film, will this workshop help them to do that?

It’s a tough industry, but knowing on-set etiquette, basic filmmaking skills using industry-standard equipment, and having connections with people in the industry are key to getting a foot in the door. Plus, an IMDb credit can show potential employers that your kid has these skills.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yeah! We offer a standard 4 payment-plan through Stripe or Paypal. Email the team at Pluggas Studio at info@pluggas.com or call on 1300 421 602 for more info.
