    In this 3 hour workshop you will learn the foundations of shredding, a simple, effective and primal self defence concept.

    Shredding is a ECQC concept that uses the physical tools originally based on Richard Dimitris 5 principles of physical retaliation.

    In this workshop we will look at it from a BareBones perspective where we use our own principles to really understand and own the concept.

    We will explore:

    * Richard Dimitris 5 principles of physical retaliation
    * Connection not contact
    * Using it to control rather than just damage
    * Cylinder theory
    * Speed to action
    * Sensory receptors and their role in Shredding
    * Movement before muscle
    * Structure before strength
    * Play before structured learning
    * Response over reaction
    * Structure and weighting

    As with all of our classes, seminars, and workshops it will be a 'dickhead free zone' where everyone has fun, learns some cool stuff and doesn't get injured.
