Melbourne's top chefs are coming together for a one-off, all-inclusive fundraising dinner with a twist, hosted by food writer and MasterChef Australia judge Sofia Levin, to support people diagnosed with incurable motor neurone disease. 

There are just 90 tickets available for this intimate event and they are expected to sell out quickly. The dinner features a six-course menu from Melbourne's most lauded chefs – Rosheen Kaul (ex-Etta), Andreas Papadakis (Tipo 00), Tom Sarafian (Zareh), Tim Martin (Half Acre), Dave Verheul (Embla), and Anthony Femia (Maker & Monger) with all premium drinks and cocktails (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic) included.

The Shut Up! for MND dinner will take place in the "glasshouse" at stunning Half Acre, a converted warehouse mill in South Melbourne complete with a courtyard fireplace, wood-fired oven and open kitchen. Held on the first day of Shut Up! for MND week, where people go without their voice to support those who have lost their ability to speak due to motor neurone disease, diners will be challenged to "Shut Up!" in solidarity for six minutes during the event, with those who break the silence "fined" for charity, and those who trick their buddies into speaking awarded spot prizes! Alternative forms of communication will be provided. 

You'll also hear from MND Vic about the crucial work they do to support people with motor neurone disease, as well as special guest speaker, host of the podcast Let's Talk MND, and The Chair of the Lived Experience Research Advisory Panel, Jane Simpson.
