SIR - the club night where you can feel SHAMELESS, INTIMATE, and RESPECTED - is returning for the final time in 2024 for its biggest night ever!

SIR is an unapologetically inclusive party and a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community, allies and friends to love themselves and dance the night away to the sounds of many flavours of techno in dark, loud, debaucherous basements.

Finally, is somebody gonna match our freak?
Many of us may be considered freaks in society’s eyes, but at SIR we say it’s time to shed that second skin and reveal your inner freak!

So let’s do it with a BANG and also celebrate 2 years of SIR at the FREAKSHOW!

This is going to be our biggest night ever as we take over the newly opened Double Whammy! Our lovely hosts at Whammy Bar have been busy over winter knocking down walls and building stages and we’re excited to expand into this space to welcome even more of you into our family.

This is going to be our last club event until mid-2025 as we take a little break. So make sure you don’t miss the FREAKSHOW!

Important notes:

• Tickets will go on pre-sale on Tuesday, 24 Sep 2024 @ 10am exclusively for people who are signed up to our mailing list. General sale starts the day later at 10am on Wednesday the 25th. Sign up at: https://bit.ly/4exlGNB
• The venue capacity is strictly limited and SIR is expected to sell out. There will be NO DOOR SALES on the night. Make sure you grab your ticket online early while they last to avoid disappointment.
• We have moved to a new ticketing platform (Humanitix) where all ticketing fees are donated to charity!

• Your SIR founders will be returning to the DJ booth following their Sydney and Melbourne dates in October & November! 🌏

Dress Theme: FREAKSHOW

Many of us may be considered freaks in society’s eyes, but at SIR we say it’s time to shed that second skin and reveal your inner freak!

You may want to embrace a new kink or reignite an old one. You may simply want to take your Halloween costume for another spin. Come as a gimp, a dominatrix or a spooky ass eating goblin. Regardless of how you may choose to arrive, you’ll be in for a show (or 2) 🎪

Though many of you will be coming dressed up and embodying your characters please be mindful of those around you. 

• We strongly encourage you to participate in the fun and come dressed in theme, but if you don’t have anything to wear in theme, please wear pink or black!
• Coat check will be available at the venue: 1 item per person (bag or to hang on coat rack). All proceeds going to charity!
• You can prepay at the price of $2 when buying your ticket by selecting add-on or pay $5 in cash at the venue

Conduct and Expectations

• We strive to create a safe space for everyone to express their authentic selves.
• All genders, sexual orientations, body types and subcultures are welcome and celebrated at our events.
• We don’t accept any discrimination or harassment in any form. Homophobia, transphobia, heterophobia, racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination are not tolerated at our events.
• Consent is mandatory. People passed out or too affected by alcohol or other substances can’t give consent.
• This is not a sexual event.
• Watch out for one another and be kind. Treat others with respect and be respected.
• Condition for entry: please read and agree to follow our Code of Conduct before joining us.

T&C

• The resale of your ticket at a price higher than the official purchase price from the authorised ticket agent Humanitix, or other SIR-authorised sale channels, is grounds for cancellation of your ticket without compensation.
  
• The only valid tickets are those purchased or redeemed/transferred through Humanitix or other SIR-authorised sale channels.
  
• Your photo may be taken by our official photographers and used in future promotional material unless you request otherwise.
• Your email address may be collected so that we can contact you directly regarding SIR events. We will not pass your details on to third parties or send you emails not relating to SIR events.
  
• SIR is an 18+ event. Your ID will be checked before entry.
  
• We reserve the right to refuse entry.
