While Blackmores’ headquarters is located in Sydney , their state-of-the-art tablet and soft gel capsule manufacturing facility is located in Braeside, Victoria. Blackmores Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kirin Holdings and the cornerstone brand of the Kirin Health Science business

In this SIRF site tour we will have the chance to hear some of the highlights of the Blackmore’s World Class Operations journey and also how they engage their teams to continuously deliver daily improvements .  

It is an excellent opportunity to see these firsthand and learn how the Blackmore’s approach could also help your own Op Ex journey. 

With a chance to see this in action from the Blackmores site tour , this is a great opportunity chance to see the disciplined Pharmaceutical approach to manufacturing and Continuous Improvement with certainly many lessons that can help your own business.

PPE  and GMP Requirements :

• All visitors must be accompanied by a Blackmores employee at all times whilst on site.

• No food, chewing gum or beverages are to be consumed in Production or Quality Controlled areas.

• No jewelry can be worn in production areas i.e. No earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches. Only a flat wedding ring band is permitted.

• Visitors with nail polish or false nails must wear gloves.

• Stockings must be worn if wearing a skirt/dress. Shorts are not permitted.

• Visitors must wear closed in flat shoes. No high heels are permitted in Production areas (Shoe covers must be worn).

• No make-up is to be worn in Production area.

PARKING

There is limited visitor parking at Blackmores – if traveling from the same company , please assist by traveling in one vehicle where possible.

On street parking is available.
