Join us for s apecial Sundowners event at the Vibe Hotel Sydney, where Timo Lorenzen, General Manager, lyf Bondi Junction Sydney and fellow Sydney Skalleague will entertain us with his comedic wit, which won him first place at the 2025 Comedy Court stand-up comedy challenge.

A bit more about Timo:

Hotel GM by day, TLO Sydney by night, and apparently committed to collecting careers like they’re Pokémon.

Former Speedo model, Marvel actor, Distinguished Toastmaster, Canberra Clay Champion (that's tennis), and - because the early 2000s were clearly a lawless time - German soap actor and familiar face from TV commercials.

These days he mostly runs hotels, makes music, occasionally attempts standup comedy, and continues to behave as though any of the above constitutes a coherent career plan.

He has worn Speedos professionally, appeared in the Marvel universe, spoken competitively, shot clay competitively, acted dramatically in German, and now spends much of his life discussing GOP, guest satisfaction and why somebody thought a QR code was a hospitality customer service strategy.

Under the name TLO Sydney, he also makes pop music, because apparently being a Hotel GM wasn’t enough attention.

We will also be discussing what Skål International is all about and how being a member can benefit you both personally and professionally.
