Smarter by Design Farm Planning sessions Denman

Design your dream farm in this hands-on 2-day workshop with expert support, custom maps, and planning tools, tailored for Hunter Valley farms. 

Event description:  

Join a local group in Denman and work alongside experts to design your dream farm. With guidance from Kim Deans from Reinventing Agriculture and your Local Land Services ag advisory team, you’ll develop a personalised action plan and take home a poster-sized farm map. 

What you’ll learn: 

• Clarify your vision, values and goals.

• Understand your land, soils, pasture and vegetation to guide your production system. 

• Design your ideal property layout.

• Learn step-by-step how to monitor progress and stay on track.

• Take home your customised A1 farm map.
  

What’s included: 
Each farm booking receives a Smarter by Design Planning Resource Pack, which includes: 

• A1-size full-colour farm map 

• Design overlays and materials 

• Step-by-step text guides 

• Catering provided each day 
  

Cost and additional details: 

• The program (valued at $700) is subsidised to cost only $110 per farm, payable on registration.  

• Each booking includes up to 2 attendees and covers the cost for both days.

• LLS will confirm your property address to prepare your individual printed farm map.

Workshop dates:  

• Day 1: Thursday, 30 October from 9am – 4pm. 

• Day 2: Thursday, 27 November from 9am - 4pm
