SMEE PCB Design Workshop S2

From idea to implementation -> This is where the lecture hall stops being lecture hall and the theory turns into a real project.

SMEE is excited to be running a 3-part PCB design project! 🔬🟢

Over the course of three workshops, we will design and build a soil moisture sensor PCB. No knowledge of the PCB design process is necessary, however we strongly recommend having completed ENG1013 to give a basic understanding of the circuits we will design. 📚⚙️

The schedule:
1️⃣ Workshop 1 (Week 5): Theory, software setup & schematic design (KiCAD)
2️⃣ Workshop 2 (Week 6): Placement, routing & PCB validation (KiCAD)
3️⃣ Workshop 3 (Week 9): PCB Assembly! Testing and fixes 🔥

All workshops will be run 6-8pm on Fridays - with the locations to be confirmed shortly

At the end of this workshop you will walk out having the skills to design and manufacture your own PCBs. 🧠💾📏
