Event description

You'll be whipping up your own mooncakes in no times in this beginner friendly, hands-on guide to Snowskin Mooncakes. Learn how to make your very own colourful and festive Snowskin Mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on October 6 within the lunar calander!

Mooncakes are a traditional Chinese sweet pastry symbolizing harmony and representing the full moon that we appreciate during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Making and sharing mooncakes is a traditional practice of the festival so come along and join in the fun and learn how to make and color your own delicious mooncakes.

The mooncakes are lactose free and vegetarian.

Who will be teaching? 

Acanthus (Anther) Oria Low [they/them] is a collector of hobbies and a small-space suburban keeper of many species of unconventional animals, and chronic pain fighter. They are a foster carer for the Rabbit Sanctuary and are passionate about sharing environmentally friendly, low or no cost enrichment for animals.
Anther has dabbled in editorial makeup, cosplay, digital design, dungeons and dragons, and so so many crafts. Find them and their animals on Instagram.
