SOAK WITH YAHWEH
Have you ever desired to spend a whole weekend in worship and praise to the one and only Creator and Saviour, Jesus Christ?
This year, you have the incredible opportunity to come and SOAK with Yahweh at one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places in Australia - Mt Miracle! Join together with like-minded believers for 70 hours of sacred time with the King.
From the moment you arrive you will be surround in His majesty; gentle running streams flowing and ebbing over a myriad of colourful stones, weaving through lush fields of green and a canopy of towering trees and majestic mountain ranges. Ancient cliffs skirted by rainforests radiating God's ever-changing splendour and colour; a magnitude of butterflies, birds, turtles, kangaroos and perhaps even a platypus or two. Morning mist swirling through the valleys and up over the mountain ridges, iridescent light filtering down as the sun rises above the bush making the grass glisten and the blue skies seem even bluer. Sunsets dancing on the clouds in a vibrancy of oranges, pinks, purples and brightest hues. Oh what a glorious God we serve!
Come worship your Maker. Come soak in His Presence. Come find His heartbeat in every breath of beauty.
He longs to meet with you and sing songs over you (Zephaniah 3:17).
He longs to forgive you and heal you from all your diseases (Psalms 103:1-5)
He longs for us to see Him and hear Him (2 Chronicles 7:14-16)
He longs to know you deeper and yet deeper still (Hebrews 11:6).
He longs to bring soothing and restoration to your soul (Psalms 23:3).
He longs to sit with you in silence and stillness, surrounding you with peace (2 Thessalonians 3:16).
He longs to heal the broken-hearted and those crushed in spirit (Psalms 34:18).
Oh that we would search for Him with all our hearts: "For I know the thoughts that I have towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and FIND ME when you search for me with all your heart."
Oh that we would seek to be One with Him as He is One with the Father. 'May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are One. I in them, and You in Me...that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." John 17:21-23a, 26b
Oh that we would take time to BE with Him and KNOW Him: 'Be still and know that I Am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Yahweh of Hosts is with us.' Psalms 46:10,11a
This is a sacred time to gather and be still before God. To really press in and come before Him to be one with Him and let His love be one in us. For Yahweh to come and be present with us. So let us come and SOAK with Yahweh. Let us bring our hearts to worship Him for the Almighty God that He is... 'until the Holy Spirit comes and fills [us] with power from Heaven.' Luke 24:49b
Details for the weekend
Dates: 25-28 April
Check in: from 12pm Thursday 25th of April. Starts 4pm.
Check out: finishes 2pm Sunday 28th of April, check out after this or by Monday morning 10am.
Day tickets are available for Thrusday the 24th of April (from 12pm) and all day for Friday the 25/4/24.
We encourage people camping to then stay the whole weekend to reduce traffic flow and disturbance of the SOAKING from Friday evening onwards.
Arriving by Vehicle:
Directions to Mt Miracle will be emailed out to you with your ticket purchase. 4WD not required.
Arriving by Flight:
Fly into the Gold Coast Airport: All flight bookings & expenses are the responsibility of each individual and are not included in ticket.
Arrive: For a bus pick-up, be sure to arrive by 10am Thursday 25/1/24. Book a bus pick-up with your ticket (NB: limited spaces available).
Depart: For a bus drop-off, be sure to book after 10am Monday 29/1/24. Book a bus drop-off with your ticket (NB: limited spaces available).
Accommodation:
Pitch your tent, swag, camper, van, caravan at our non-powered camping sites. Camping gear and bedding are not included in ticket.
Children: Children are most welcome to attend with their families. But please note, we won't be providing staff supervision for children throughout the event, so we ask parents to supervise your children throughout SOAK with Yahweh, especially around the stream and the campfire. Food: Cook your own divine dishes to eat. You will need to bring your own cooking facilities, utensils and food. Then kick back and enjoy your meal fellowshipping with other campers here to worship and adore the King.
Facilities:
The Worship Barn: is set aside specifically for soaking, with a quiet atmosphere and reverence for meeting with Yahweh, with opportunity to worship, sing, pray, open and read the Word or to be still before the Maker.
The HUB: is a creative space just outside the Barn for reflection, journalling, painting, drawing, making and gentle conversation.
The HEART: is a fire pit outside for communal gathering to share testimonies, sing and meet others.
Bathroom: There are lovely bathroom facilities available to use for showering and toilets at the end of the Worship Barn. Otherwise, feel free to bath in invigorating fresh water flowing from the mountains right beside our camp site. We are an eco-friendly campsite, so no soap in the stream please unless all natural. Some bush toilets and showers are also located around the site.
Mesh Shed: We have a shed available in the camping area where you can access a fridge, hot water and tables for meal prep and eating.
Water Station: We have beautiful fresh water available for drinking and cooking. You will find these at the back of the Worship Barn and in the Mesh Shed. Feel free to fill up water from the stream too, it's super delightful!
Hot drinks: Available at the water station at the back of the Worship Barn.
Rubbish: We have bins located around the camping area, at the Mesh Shed and near the Worship Barn available for any rubbish. There will also be compositing available beside the Mesh Shed.
Medical Station: A full medical kit is available at the back of the Worship Barn. We also request individuals to bring their own personal medical kit and to grab one of our walking medical kits when heading out around the property, incase of snakes.
The Program: There is no scheduled program as we seek to give space for Yahweh to move and lead us throughout the weekend. There will be opportunity to SOAK in the Worship Barn - singing, listening, worshipping, reading the Word, writing, journally, praying or just being still with the Maker. There will be some special time to get into the Word and to pray together.
There will be opportunity for sacred worship at sunrise and sunset on the mountain, watching the Creator's glory unfold in majesty. And you are very welcome to walk the hills and valleys around Mt Miracle and breathe in the very presence of God.
Let us marvel at His majesty and might - the One who calls out each star by name every night! 'To whom then will you liken Me, or to whom shall I be equal?" says the Holy One. Lift up our eyes on high, and see who has created these things, who brings out their starry host by number; He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might, and the strength of His power; not one is missing.' Isaiah 40:26,27.
Let our prayers rise as incense to Yahweh day and night (Psalms 141:2), for He is worthy of it all, and so worthy to be praised. If we but come and minister to the King, and wait on Him, He will surely come meet with us here. "I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me." Proverbs 8:17
He is waiting for us to welcome Him in..."Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.' Revelation 3:20
'Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.' Hosea 6:3
You are also most welcome to stay up and SOAK with Yahweh all night and all day in our worship Barn where there will be cushions and some mattresses available.
