Sock Puppet - School Holiday Workshop
Event description
Happymess Sock Puppets workshop is a delightful opportunity for children ages 5 to 12 to unleash their imagination and craft their own unique characters. Running from 10am to 12pm, this session focuses on transforming ordinary socks into extraordinary puppets through a variety of fun and engaging techniques. Kids will learn to sew, glue, and decorate their puppets with a range of materials, including buttons, felt, and yarn. As they bring their sock creations to life, they’ll develop their fine motor skills and artistic abilities in a playful and supportive environment.
In addition to puppet-making, the workshop features interactive storytelling and improvisational games, where children can use their handcrafted puppets to act out imaginative scenes and adventures. This dynamic combination of crafting and performance encourages creativity, boosts confidence, and fosters teamwork. By the end of the session, each child will leave with a one-of-a-kind sock puppet and a new set of storytelling skills, ready to entertain friends and family with their own puppet shows. Our Sock Puppets workshop provides a wonderful blend of creativity, craft, and performance, making it a perfect holiday activity for young artists and performers.
