Soma Sunday
Begin your Sunday with a gentle, grounding 75-minute session starting at 8:00 AM. Jess will guide you through a mindful blend of somatic movement, gentle asana (yoga postures), breathwork, and meditation. Props are provided, including mats, blocks, bolsters, eye pillows, and blankets, or feel free to bring your own. Yoga chairs are also available for those who find added support beneficial during practice. Open to every body and all experience levels (including beginners), this class provides a welcoming space for everyone.
Optional Guided Ice Bath
From 9:20 AM, you’re invited to experience a personalised, guided ice bath session with Jess, who who is trained and experienced in advanced breathwork techniques and cold water immersion. Your immersion time is entirely flexible—whether it’s a quick 5-second dip or a deeper 5-minute stay. No prior experience is necessary. Please bring swimmers (or clothes that can get wet) and a towel.
Ice Bath Benefits
The wide-ranging benefits of ice baths include an increase in dopamine levels (one of the “feel-good” hormones), faster physical recovery, enhanced mental focus, reduced stress, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation.
Note: Cold water immersion is safe for most people, but please consult a medical professional if you have any conditions, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes, that may prevent you from safely participating.
