Social Walks are all about getting outside, getting moving and meeting new people. Come on your own, bring a mate or bring the family. Everyone is welcome. 💛
📍 Meet: Somerton Surf Lifesaving Club
🕘 Meet time: 8:45am
👟 Start time: 9:00am sharp
📏 Distance: Approx. 6km
⏱️ Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours
🏁 Finish: Somerton Surf Lifesaving Club around 10:30am
We’ll meet at Somerton Surf Life Saving Club at 8:45am to set off at 9:00am (sharp). From there,
we’ll follow the foreshore walking trail towards Seacliff, taking in beautiful views across St Vincent Gulf, the coastline and surrounding beachside areas before making our way back to our starting point.
The total walk is around 6.5km and is expected to take roughly 1.5 hours.
After the walk, anyone who would like to can join us for a coffee nearby and continue the morning with some good conversation.
This walk goes ahead rain, hail or shine.

This is a friendly, easy-paced Social Walk designed for connection, movement and fresh air. Expect beautiful ocean views, scenic boardwalk sections and peaceful beachside walking. This walk is perfect for anyone wanting a casual Sunday morning outing with a great community vibe.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you come on your own, with a friend, or you’re brand new to Social Walks, we’d love to have you join us.
- What should I bring?
Please bring:
- Water
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Weather appropriate clothing
- A hat and sunscreen if it’s sunny
- A rain jacket if wet weather is forecast
- Is there public transport to the event location?
The closest train station is Hove. From there attendees can walk to the start point.
- What happens if it rains?
All our walks go ahead rain, hail or shine.

- Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Social Walks events are designed to be welcoming for all fitness levels. Check the walk rating and distance on the event page to find one that suits you.
- Can I bring a dog?
Yes, dogs are permitted on this Social Walk. Please note, they must be on a leash at all times during the walk.
- What if I am running late?
We aim to start on time out of respect for everyone who arrives as scheduled, so we’re unable to wait for late arrivals.
