Enter a timeless space of listening as multi-instrumentalist Mike Tamburo orchestrates his way through his beautifully curated set of overtone-rich instruments, including gongs, bells, sound sculptures, hammered dulcimer, and tuned metal instruments. Listeners have described Mike Tamburo’s music as an adventure in listening; sonic bliss; a profound aesthetic experience; a journey through the senses; and a perceptual rollercoaster. Monica will creatively add to the soundscape with her unique expressions of sound on various instruments. Together they will co-create a Sonic Adventure for your own inner journey. Allow yourself to be still and listen.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillows, eye mask or anything to make your experience comfortable. There will be some chairs available for those who prefer to sit.
What to expect at the event:
>> Doors will open at 6:00 pm. The event will start at 6:30 pm.
>> Tickets are $40 in advance at the door if not sold out. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages event!
>> Parking is available on the street around F&M College. We suggest finding a spot on the park side of Buchanan Ave, Race Ave, or College Ave (North of Buchanan). Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!
>> Format: This will be a multi-formatted event in City Hall with limited seating available. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.
>>The Art Bar is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm with a full espresso menu, beer, wine, cocktails, N/A drinks, and tasty bites from local bakeries. Come settle in before the show, and linger after for a nightcap!

Bio
Mike Tamburo is a world-renowned musician, composer, artist, and educator known for his transformational live concerts performed on a personally curated set of gongs, bells, hammered dulcimer and other metal instruments.
A lifelong multi-instrumentalist, Tamburo has focused his talents on metal percussion, string instruments (hammered dulcimer, guitar, zither, shahi baaja), and electronic instruments (synths, looping). Since 1994, he has shared over 2,500 concerts and workshops and released more than 70 albums—solo and with Crown of Eternity, Meisha, Arco Flute Foundation, Psychic Frost, Brother Ong, and others. His work spans gong music, ecstatic string music, folk, drone, ambient, mantra, and experimental sounds.
He is also a gong teacher, an interdisciplinary sound artist, instrument builder, video artist, sound therapist, writer, and meditation teacher.

Monica Mullen is the Assistant Director and Senior Instructor at Soundwise School of Harmonic Therapy in Lancaster, Pa. A full time Sound Practitioner and Teacher since 2021, she facilitates Sound meditations with various overtone instruments for groups, private sessions, and retreats. Merging her creativity as an artist with her passion for Sound, and a background in Vibrational Radiesthesia, she creates Soundscapes with intention. Passionate about inspiring students, Monica curates immersive, skill set building workshops for those curious in delving into the subtleties of sound, in addition to her classes at Soundwise.
