If you thrive on pushing your limits and love a good workout, the Fitness Hiker category is for you. Covering distances of 10–20 kilometres, these hikes are designed to challenge your body and build endurance. Expect a faster, moderate-to-brisk pace with minimal stops, traversing varied terrain that may include sand, inclines, and steps. These hikes are perfect for getting your heart rate up, burning calories, and testing your fitness level.

Get ready for an incredible adventure! This hike is perfect for boosting your fitness levels. The combination of trail and sand walking will strengthen your heart and give your legs a fantastic workout. Don't worry, we wont work you too hard! You will sweat a little, however smiles and a sense of accomplishment await you!!

Portsea Beach is simply stunning! Feel the waves kiss your shoes and let the crashing sounds of the ocean rejuvenate your spirit. It's truly a regular favourite!

We'll also make a special stop at the iconic London Bridge rock formation for some amazing photos and a refreshing recharge. Don't miss out on this exhilarating experience!

THINGS TO NOTE:

  • This is a loop walk and will return to the start location.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WALK:

- beach walking (3km's)

- Some inclines

- Uneven ground

- Toilet at the beginning and half way

- This is a return hike

WHAT TO BRING:

- Water

- Snack. Ie: Banana, high protein snack, Jam sandwich.

- Electrolyte energy drink

- Insect repellant

WHAT TO WEAR:

- A good pair of walking shoes is necessary, which could be hiking shoes or boots. It is recommended to avoid jogging runners as they may not provide enough grip, although it is not a strict requirement. No open toe shoes.

- Decent socks. Ie: a mix of wool, nylon & elastane. Non bulky (Visit hiking stores)

- Compact lightweight jacket - optional

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This walk is NOT suitable for children (18+), babies in carriers or for people who do not walk more than 5km’s at a time. This is a National Park, therefore no dogs or animals allowed.

YOU MUST READ ALL EVENT DETAILS IN THEIR ENTIRETY BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET. Our cancellation policy is 48 hours.
