Description

Spicy Book Club is your monthly chance to discuss romance, romantasy and anything with a heated twist, following an extra spicy session of Pilates to get you warm, flowing (and a touch sweaty).

Led by Pilates instructor Kaiya Johnson and meeting on the third Wednesday of each month.

All props and mats provided, alongside drinks and nibblies.

November - Special end of year event with author Jade May! Join us for a discussion of Unleashed by Eden, followed by an author Q&A with Jade.

Kaiya Johnson is a Reformer, Mat & Barre Pilates instructor. Her classes focus on flow, and moving my clients in all three planes of motion (coronal, saggital and transverse). Currently teaching full-time all over Sydney, in her spare time she enjoys the beach and reading - preferably together!

The Rose Read Bookshop is an independent bookshop founded by Stephanie Beck and Mischa Parkee and is built from a love of books, community, and the women who inspire us.

Our journey began in 2007, when Steph and Mischa met in high school and formed a connection that became stronger over the years through a shared love of reading.

Rose Read is more than just a bookshop; we strive to be a place of gathering, where people with differing experiences can come together in a safe space and connect through a shared love of books. We recognise that the land in which Rose Read is built on has long been a place of gathering and where storytelling has always existed.

Our booksellers are passionate about celebrating diverse voices and championing books that surprise, challenge, and inspire; books that provide a gateway to understanding different perspectives, feelings, and ways of being.
