The Grown-Up Charity Sports Day with a Twist. Special prizes for mischief makers ... and a cream tea at Bovey Castle too!

🏆 The 2026 West Country Women Charity Sports Day, Charity Fundraiser & Cream Tea

Help to put the fun into fundraising by joining our annual Sports Day for Charity!

Join us at the stunning location of Bovey Castle for a day with a difference and to indulge your inner main character syndrome while raising money for a great cause.

Whether you are a first timer or have done it before, give yourself a chance to have a real giggle and try out some non-competitive:

• Archery, rifle shooting and golf in the castle grounds.

• The 'devious' Olympics: bring your best tricks for the Egg and Spoon race with a twist (most imaginative cheating and mischief is fully encouraged and gets a special medal!)

• Join our infamous 'dress-up' 100 metres dash ...

• The Relaxation Retreat: not feeling sporty? Well just enjoy the venue, enjoy the view and network over a world-class Bovey Castle Cream Tea while cheering on the competitiors!

This year, we are coming together to support our 2026 Charity of the Year: Reminiscence Learning. Following their inspiring win at the last West Country Women Awards, we are proud to champion their vital work in dementia care and community support across the region. Every ticket sold and every "devious" race run helps us provide Reminiscence Learning with the resources they need to change lives in the West Country.

Don’t miss this unforgettable day of connection, laughter, and high-impact fundraising.
