Sports Philanthropy Network's Happy Hour:  Gathering for a Cause to Impact Chicago

Sports Philanthropy Network (SPN) is excited to announce its upcoming Happy Hour in partnership with Pilot Project, to support underserved Chicago zip codes. Please join us for this meaningful event to network with purpose:

Join Us in Making a Difference: SPN and Pilot Project are asking you to lend a helping hand to those in need.

We will be collecting the following essential items:

    • Protein Bars
    • Peanut Butter
    • Period Products

Pilot Project was created as a purpose-driven, collaborative, and artistically curious brewing and tasting room facility to help support talented brewers in an industry with exceptionally high barriers. Pilot Project empowers the Milwaukee and Chicago communities through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Their unwavering commitment to uplifting others makes them valuable partners in our pursuit of creating hope and possibility through sports.

Sports Philanthropy Network is committed to impacting communities nationwide by using sports to build a pipeline of philanthropy. We collaborate with athletes/influencers, business executives, and local nonprofits and use sports to build stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities.

PEANUT BUTTER and PROTEIN BARS are a crucial source of nutrition and pivotal in addressing malnutrition. Research highlights protein’s importance as a critical source of supplementation, and your donations of peanut butter and protein bars provide essential nourishment to those in need.

PERIOD POVERTY. Recent studies have shown that approximately 1 in 3 people who menstruate in the United States cannot afford essential period products every month. This financial barrier leads to chronic school absenteeism, limits job opportunities, prevents sports participation, and poses  potential medical concerns. Your donations can make a significant difference in breaking down this barrier and supporting those affected. All Pads, Tampons, and Cups are welcome and necessary!

DERRICK J. WEBB:  Come check out the art of Derrick J. Webb who focuses his art on legacy. https://www.derrickjwebb.com/m...

WE ALL LEAVE A LEGACY EVEN WITH OUR EYES CLOSED.

While growing up, many families of color like mine didn't have frequent conversations that looked past their present. My notion of "legacy" came much later in eye-opening discussions with diverse groups of professionals, peers and news articles.

Although my discussions about legacy happened later than some, my takeaway was always, "How could I contribute to the larger conversation?"

The answer, I've found, is through my art.
