Spring 2025 Guided Walk of Wamboin Crown Reserve

We will be focussing on the plants and birds in the Wamboin Crown Reserve. Hopefully spring will have sprung and there’ll be delightful wildflowers to see and chirpy birds to spot.

The walk is on bush tracks in undulating country. Some sections are very steep, uphill or downhill. There are rocks and other hazards with potential encounters with wildlife such as kangaroos and wombats.

If the weather is windy, the walk may be cancelled or postponed.

Participants acknowledge there are risks in participating in the walk and should be comfortable walking for up to a couple of hours. The organisers will take every care but cannot guarantee the safety of any participant.

PLEASE NOTE: We are meeting at the Wamboin Community Hall. We will then car pool to the Reserve as parking is very limited. Ta.
